SAT1 and SAT2 are two tests for those who want to apply to any college in America.
The test is not only developed for aliens(internatonal students), but also for American students as well.
First, SAT1 (general).
The test includes 3 sections. They are Writing (Essay and sentence correction), Critical Reading (Sentence complition, analysing small and big texts and answering the questions on the basis of the texts), Math(several tasks that require medium knowledge of math). Each section costs 800 points. The range is 200-800. So the maximum score you can get for 3 sections is 2400 and the range is 600-2400 as well. You have 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete your test and transfer your answers to th Answer Sheet.
Second, SAT2 (Subject).
The result of SAT2 is usually required only in high level colleges. It is a specific test that depends on the subject you have chosen. The level of the questions in the test is much higher of those of SAT1 questions. For example, your SAT2 subject test can be Math (level 1 or 2), Chemistry, Physics or Language test (spanish, greek, ect.). The Math test contains 50 questions and the maximum score is 800.
The info I have provided you is written by myself and probably has some points to add.
The official site of both test where you can find additional info, register for tests and practice online is collegeboard.com
P.S.
SAT is not the only test which should be taken by international student. Also you have to take either TOEFL or IELTS language test. The Absolute majority of American colleges accept TOEFL, but some colleges (approximately 300) don't accept IELTS. To be sure about your college admissions visit the official site of the chosen college.
Thanks for reading.
